John Graham
John Graham was born in Montreal, Quebec. and is a multidisciplinary artist based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After receiving Bachelor and Masters degrees in Architecture from the University of Manitoba (Winnipeg) in 1983 and 1986, and working as an architect, John Graham acquired a BFA from Concordia University (Montreal, 1994) and an MFA from University of Oregon (Eugene, 1999). Since 2013, he has been an art educator and the Chair of Printmaking in the Department of Art & Art History of the University of Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon.
Graham’s art practice includes printmaking, artist’s books, painting, drawing, installations, digital imaging and experimental filmmaking.
He has received numerous awards, and his art has been exhibited in over 180 solo, duo and group shows in North America, Europe and Asia, and has been acquired by many public and private collections including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Canada Council Art Bank, the National Bank of Canada, the City of Ottawa Art Collection, the National Library of Canada, the National Library of Québec, and the New York Public Library.
John Graham is a member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council and the Funen Graphic Workshop (Denmark).
